“But honeyyyy,” Hunter whines again briefly before he repents and turns a little to return the snuggle.
He’s quiet and then there’s a little nuzzle into the others hair, “really…thank you…this place feels like home. Not home back where we came from but like…a real home…”
Lennon flushes a little bit he nods slightly. It’s the first time he’s
talked about this with someone other than Daeshim. It started when were
feeling weird some stuff he said… but after…
“I told him I want a family,” Lennon murmurs. “And he wants to make one
with me…”
He still can hardly believe it. “He told me we’re already a family, the two
of us but… I think we all kind of are.”
Given where they are and the fact that he’s now living with a real fae and a vampire - it isn’t the most outlandish thing he could hear. A baby. They want a baby.
Idly, he strokes his fingers through Lennons hair and thinks about that for a bit.
“He was making sure we were okay with it before you two decided to have us,” he says thoughtfully, “How is that going to be possible though?”
Lennon is kind of glad the other doesn’t freak out about him telling him that. He just relaxes and the anxiety of admitting a dream that he’d held so secret for so long starts to be soothed away.
Shifting a little, because he’s gonna have to get used to this damn fluffy tail, he makes a sound like he disagrees.
“Two guys having a baby? Nah. I think it’s sweet.“ he pauses and tips his head before he tickles his tail under Lennons nose, “none of this is weird to me.”
Hunter doesn’t seem to mind the tail grab. He reaches around to brush Lennons hair back so he can see him better, “Just cause yours were horrible doesn’t mean you will be. Just remember that. I think it’ll be hard but I don’t think you’ll be horrible.”
“Mmph—“ another little shift and Hunter shakes his head again, “yeah. You’re you. What’s that got to do with being a good parent or not? You care about the people you care about. You’ll be good with your baby.”

He was alone back where they came from.

"It...really does..." Lennon says quietly. "I haven't had one...in a long time."

He sighs, “my parents sent me away when I was like…eight,” he frowns and closes his eyes, “I was already an adult by the time I was let out.”

"Oh," he murmurs. There's so much that he doesn't know about Hunter.
"I was a teenager when my parents kicked me out..."

Being honest here somehow gets him understanding. Being honest back home got him medicated and abandoned.
“The past doesn’t matter here…” he murmurs and kisses the top of Lennons head. “People care about us here.”

"Do you know the reason Dae put the question about babies on the application?"

“He can…switch his gender.”
Lennon’s not sure how to word it better.

“Well, that’ll be adorable,” he finally says, “does that make you Daddy then?”

He breathes a sigh, “And I’ll say it again - you’re not alone. We’ll all help.”
